GotWurk (Pty) Ltd (“GotWurk”, “we”) is a South African business, and this notice explains what personal information we collect through gotwurk.com and the client portal, why, and what rights you have over it under South Africa’s Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
What we collect
- Apply form: business name, your name and role, contact details, and the operational information you volunteer about your business, when you submit the form at
/apply. - Client portal account: your email address, used only to send you a one-time access code and to link you to your company’s portal. We don’t store a password for you — there isn’t one.
- Payments: if you become a paying client, billing details are collected and processed directly by Stripe. We never see or store your card details ourselves.
Where it’s stored
Account and portal data lives in our Supabase database (hosted in the EU). Apply-form submissions are also logged in our internal Notion workspace so we can follow up. Payment records are held by Stripe under their own privacy terms.
Cookies
We only set strictly-necessary cookies: a session cookie that keeps you signed in to the client portal, cleared when you close your browser. We don’t run advertising or analytics tracking on this site today. See our Cookie Policy for detail, and if that ever changes, this page and that one will be updated first.
Your rights
Under POPIA, you can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or withdraw consent for us to hold it — email info@willemmostert.com and we’ll action it.
Third parties
We share data only with the processors named above (Supabase, Notion, Stripe) as needed to run the service — never sold, never shared for advertising.
